Winner - Pharma Pitch Perfect @PSWA Innovation for Health

PSWA held the second annual Pharma Pitch Perfect competition on Wednesday night. Those attending were inspired by all four presentations. It was a tight competition with two presentations by Glenn Angel - Webbit - Filling the gap between DAA Packing software, your patients and your staff and NutriCalc - Solving complex nutriceutical calculations for compounding pharmacies within seconds. Wesley Williams pitched his concept to lessen the impact of cold chain breaches with Following Fridge Failure and Lusi Sheehan spoke about her plans for a Wound Care Course for Pharmacists.

After much discussion the judges declared Glenn Angel the winner for Webbit - Filling the gap between DAA Packing software, your patients and your staff.

Glenn’s prize is a scholarship to attend the Centre for Entrepreneurial Research and Innovation’s (CERI) Entrepreneurial Mindset Bootcamp. The bootcamp teaches participants the importance of a growth mindset and how to research their problem-solution fit at the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey.

Thank you to CERI for their ongoing support of PSWA.

As always at PSWA events, there was a great atmosphere of inspiration and connectedness to the profession. It was a great opportunity for networking and meeting or catching up with colleagues.

The PSWA Board are pleased to continue to support innovation in pharmacy practice in all areas of the profession with similar events already being planned for 2023.
