Pharma Pitch Perfect @PSWA Innovation for Health Winner Announced

It was a tight competition with three inspiring pharmacists pitching their innovative ideas at PSWA’s inaugural Pharma Pitch Perfect event.

Mayli Foong and Kim Wallis pitched “Streamlining HMR referrals to optimise collaborative care”, an idea to improve the referral process for HMR’s. Rebecca Nguyen pitched “MindWise education - human knowledge and skills for thriving in life” supporting the mental health of pharmacists. Dr Sandra Salter’s pitch “Building a better system” expanded on her recent research funded by the JM O’Hara Research Fund, monitoring the side effects of influenza vaccines given by pharmacists.

After much deliberation, the expert judging panel awarded Rebecca Nguyen as the winner. Rebecca’s prize is an Entrepreneurial Mindset Bootcamp from CERI valued at $3,000.
