JM O'Hara Research Fund Grant 2018 Announced

 PSWA are pleased to announce that the recipient of the 2018 JMOHRF Grant is Dr Tin Fei Sim from Curtin University.  Dr Sim and her team will be conducting a feasibility study on the introduction of Point-of-Care C-Reactive Protein Test for Supporting the Management of Respiratory Tract Infections in Western Australian Community Pharmacy. Dr Sim believes this is an important piece of work to improve the practice of pharmacy and the health of Western Australians. It is hoped this project will contribute towards facilitating antimicrobial stewardship and advancing evidence-based community pharmacy practice to improve recognition of pharmacists’ roles and remuneration.
